The TwisterTrac AC210 is a fully-mobile, diesel hydraulic, remote-controlled, tracked Vertical Shaft Impact (VSI) crusher, used for manufacturing “in spec”, high-quality cubically shaped aggregates and sand. Ideally used as a third or fourth stage crusher, the field-proven TwisterTrac AC210 is used all over the world in aggregate, industrial milling, recycling and mineral processing applications. This world leading product can be used on its own or easily integrated into mobile crushing plants. The tracked TwisterTrac AC210 was engineered from the ground up, making it fit for purpose unlike many so-called mobile crushers which are static machines adapted to accommodate the need for mobility.

TwisterTrac VSI crushers use two variations of VSI crushing. The first is vertical shaft impact crushing where rock is fed onto a table type rotor which accelerates and then discharges the rock at high speed against steel anvils in the crushing chamber. The impact of the rock against the steel anvils induces fracture and breaks the rock. The second variation is called vertical shaft autogenous (VSA) crushing, where rock is fed into a multi-port rotor which accelerates and then discharges the rock at high speed against a rock filled crushing chamber. The impact of rock on rock induces fracture, breaks and shapes the rock. This unique crushing action provides low wear costs, superior products and high reduction ratios.

The TwisterTrac has a variable speed belt feeder, a Twister VSI crusher, hopper and belt feeder, a discharge conveyor and a diesel hydraulic power pack, all mounted on a heavy duty track undercarriage with dual speed configuration, and 25 degree gradability. The TwisterTrac is controlled via a Mitsubishi PLC, which automates all the crusher’s functions and facilitates ongoing monitoring of all aspects of its operation. The TwisterTrac AC210 has throughput capacities of up to 250tph with a touch button variable speed rotor which allows variation of the rotor between 1200rpm and1600rpm providing the ability to adjust the crusher output or final product to suit ever changing job specifications. The machine has three simple operating modes – track, automatic and manual – with menu driven user interface.
